STORY
What Is It About?
For three years, Eliza has lived as her twin sister's replacement bride in a marriage where her husband loves someone else. She tolerates the humiliation for five million dollars and the chance to disappear when the arrangement ends. During a snowstorm, he locks her outside on a freezing terrace to prove his loyalty to his mistress. Alone in the dark, Eliza realizes no one in the household may come to help her. The ordeal forces her to confront how far she has gone for an escape that still seems out of reach.
