STORY
What Is When Mommy Comes Home About?
Pearl wants only one thing: to be good enough for her family to come home. Left behind with promises she still believes, she waits through a failing home and repeated cries for help that no one takes seriously. Her mother plans to return with a strawberry tart, unaware of how quickly Pearl’s world is falling apart. Told through a child’s hope and a family’s delayed realization, the drama asks what happens when love arrives only after neglect has already changed everything.
